R. Kelly & Tory Lanez’ Prison Christmas Meals Revealed

R. Kelly and Tory Lanez are spending the holiday season behind bars and will most likely be doing so several more times — their meals during the year-end festivities, however, might provide some relief to the monotony of their sentences.

On Monday (December 25), TMZ obtained and published the food menus both convicts were treated to on Christmas Day.

Tory Lanez, who is posted at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, had pineapple glazed ham, carrot and pineapple salad, mashed potatoes, beef gravy, mixed vegetables, dinner roll, ice cream and blueberry crisp.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly feasted on cornish hens, broccoli cream, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, glazed carrots, dinner rolls and pecan pie at North Carolina’s FCI Butner Medium.

The two artists have been keeping busy behind bars. Last month, Lanez returned with new music, dropping the deluxe edition of his ’80s-inspired album, Alone At Prom.

The 31-year-old rapper and singer, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August after being convicted of shooting Megan The Stallion during an argument in July 2020. He has never acknowledged shooting the Houston native and has even accused the media of launching a smear campaign against him.

In October, an appeal filed by the Canadian singer was turned down. More recently, he asked a judge to vacate his sentence after his bodyguard recently made a statement that he didn’t see who fired the gun.

R. Kelly, on the other hand, recently filed a lawsuit against the federal Bureau of Prisons for allegedly leaking his prison emails and call logs to blogger Tasha K.

According to Billboard, he claims a Bureau of Prisons agent illegally accessed his digital prison records and sold them to Tasha in 2019. The blogger is named as a defendant in the suit, with the R&B veteran’s legal team writing that she “rallied her massive following to harass the plaintiff with the use of the stolen information and created chaos in plaintiff’s personal life.”

R. Kelly was sentenced to two decades behind bars in February by a Chicago judge in his federal sexual assault case. At the sentencing, the judge ruled that all but one year would be served concurrent to the 30-year sentence he was handed after being found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.
