Rapper Blueface jailed for months after violating probation

  • He is also on probation for a violent altercation that occurred in a club in 2022

Rapper Blueface has been jailed for more than six months after reportedly violating his probation for an attack on a Los Angeles nightclub bouncer.

Officials said on Friday that the 26-year-old had violated one or more of his probation terms for the assault, which occurred in San Fernando Valley in September 2021.

A hearing had reportedly been scheduled for Friday regarding the alleged probation violation, though it is not clear what Blueface is alleged to have done.

A clip has surfaced of the rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, presumably heading to court and saying he was going to ‘handle some mandatory issues’ before adding ‘see you on the other side’.

He has since been put behind bars in county jail, TMZ reports, and is not scheduled to be released until July 2, 2024.

Porter’s mother shared her ‘heartbreak’ at the news, posting on her Instagram story on Friday to say ‘my baby is in jail’.

She piled the blame onto the two mothers of Porter’s children – Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock.

‘Jaidyn got him one charge and Rock got him the one that violated the other,’ she wrote, without offering further explanation.

It is not the only case Blueface is facing probation terms in relation to, with the hip hop star also subject to a maximum of three years of probation over a shooting in Las Vegas.

He avoided jail time for the attack at Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road in November 2022.

Prosecutors initially charged Porter with attempted murder but a plea deal lowered the charges to battery and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.

But the judge ordered Porter to pay out a staggering $12 million for the venue’s lost revenue and another $84,000 to cover lost wages for the employees.

Blueface, born Johnathan Jamall Porter, was sentenced to three years' probation in October 2022

The penalty has gone unpaid, according to TMZ Hip Hop, and has since accrued interest raising the amount he owes to over $14,000,000.

In December, shocking footage emerged showing Porter bringing a female fan on stage before shoving her into his entourage while apparently shouting: ‘Get her!’

The incident occurred at a club event that the LA rapper was hosting alongside his on-and-off girlfriend Alexis.

According to various people on social media who attended the show, Alexis accused the woman of throwing ice at her, which cannot be seen in the videos on social media.

It is not known if the woman filed a police report of the incident.
