MICHIGAN CITY — After a period of dormancy, a local dance group that fuses worship and hip hop has returned to show off their moves and bring together young churchgoers in Michigan City.

The Judah Explosion dance team is based in Michigan City’s High Praise Outreach Ministries. Made up of 11 middle and high school-age students from different churches, participants practice once a week on dance routines set to both gospel music and hip hop.
