Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, also known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy, is “sad” and “lonely” in jail where he has been held without parole following his arrest on federal charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy. The rapper, who was on a suicide watch after the first few days of his arrest, is reportedly being checked up on by a dedicated mental health team. Diddy has been denied bail twice.
P Diddy ‘sad’ and ‘lonely’ in jail
P Diddy has been locked in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Centre after he was arrested on September 16 by federal agents at an NYC hotel on various charges related to his alleged sex crimes.
Now, prison expert Larry Levine has stated that Diddy is facing difficulty adjusting to his life behind bars and is being visited daily by a team of psychologists.
Larry claimed: “He’s not really on suicide watch but my inside source there tells me that there are [people] coming by to visit with him several times a day, you know, to make sure that he’s okay. He’s got somebody from the psychology department coming out to visit with him so it’s like a game that they play with the inmates.” “Remember, he’s not playing chess,” Larry added. “He’s in a cell by himself.”
Is Diddy getting special treatment in jail?
Diddy is reportedly being treated differently from the other prisoners in the jail, given his status as a hip-hop mogul and high-profile celebrity connections. According to sources working in the jail, the self-proclaimed bad boy is being given special treatment in jail, which includes extra stint to endure his jail time and a few extra minutes in the shower.
Diddy is not a fan of prison food
Marc Agnifilo, one of the rapper’s attorneys, following a court hearing earlier this month shared that the condition in prison bears a stark difference to Diddy’s lavish Las Angeles life, hence, he is finding it difficult to adapt to new circumstances. “I think probably the food is the toughest part of it,” he added. Notably, New York’s Metropolitan Detention Centre is notorious for its shabby conditions, gang fights, and scuffles among inmates.
