Spaulding High School art students paint windows to honor Rochester police

ROCHESTER — Local art students recently volunteered their time to paint windows as part of the Thank a Rochester Cop committee’s efforts during the month of September. This initiative aims to show gratitude to the Rochester Police Department.

Twenty-two art students from Spaulding High School dedicated an entire day to painting and decorating storefront windows at The Ridge Marketplace. Participating businesses include Evviva Trattoria, Confident Med Spa, Eastern Paradise, Tropical Smoothie Café, Sonny’s Tavern, and Waterstone Properties Group. The students’ hard work and creativity will be on display at these locations through the week of Sept. 23.

In recognition of their efforts, the students enjoyed a special lunch generously provided by Evviva Trattoria.

Rochester residents still have time to express thanks to the Police Department by putting out yard signs, decorating with blue bows, or displaying blue lights ahead of National Thank a Police Officer Day on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Thank a Rochester Cop committee recognizes Profile Bank for generously underwriting all activities again this year.
