Street meets canvas: This St. George artist fuses graffiti and abstract art

This St. George artist paints outside the lines, mixing graffiti and abstract street art into a style that’s unmistakably his.

“I call it sad magic,” artist Danny Gutierrez said, standing among his work inside Oasis Gardens and Gallery. “It’s got a deeper meaning behind it because you can be going through a lot in life, but then you can create something beautiful out of the pain you feel inside.”
