Head along to Greerton Village today for the Greerton Retro Fest from 11am – 3pm. This jam-packed free veent will feature live music, face painting, roaming stilt walkers and living statues, as well as a retro photobooth and a $50 fashion show challenge with special guest judges.
Get amongst the fun and discover the best of Greerton’s vintage scene with cool retro-themed shop window displays and collectibles. Performers include MC Brutus Powers, and live music by band ‘Indecisive’ and Mark Affleck.
Hip Hop Dance Competition

Project is a Hip Hop Crew Dance Competition for youth who have a passion for Hip Hop Dance. This event will allow young people to engage in creative expression in a supportive and positive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment. Participants are coming from across NZ.
Today the entry level street dance competition gives young dancers the opportunity to take the stage and experience competitive Hip Hop Dance – there will be Primary, Intermediate / Junior Novice and Secondary School / Varsity Novice divisions, as well as the Mega Schools Division. On Sunday June 1 the open division crews at an elite level from all over NZ take to the floor to battle it out for over $20,000 in prize money.
