Star Wars fans took snapshots of the large colorful mural along a street that was once a grimy and abandoned street in Peru’s capital as street vendors set up their stalls.

Until recently, Jirón Street in the neighborhood of La Victoria, in downtown Lima, was full of garbage but dozens of urban artists decided to clean it up and turn its walls into a large cement canvas for graffiti artwork.

A large mural commemorating the 25th anniversary of the release of the Star Wars film “The Phantom Menace” was unveiled on Sunday.
