When he was a teenager, Brendan Stewart was making quite a splash on the local and national dance circuit. Back in 2018, he attend the BuildaBEAST workshop in Chicago, where he trained with choreographers from New York and Los Angeles. At the end of that event, he was awarded a full scholarship to the BuildaBEAST Experience in L.A.

The year before, he trained in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center. His passion and dance skills, in combination with an impressive head of hair, earned Brendan the affectionate and amazing nickname ‘Wicked Curls’.

Well, Wicked Curls recently decided to share his love of dance with a new generation and fulfill a childhood dream in the process. He always wanted to own and operate his own dance studio and now he does!  He recently opened The Vault Dance Studio here in Owensboro.

Now, you may be wondering if there is any significance in the name ‘The Vault.’ There’s actually a bunch of it. Brendan says The Vault gives you a place to unlock your natural talents and true potential. He’s giving children and adults in the area the chance to do that with a variety of weekly classes. Brendan has designed those classes to not only teach people how to dance, but to tap into their potential to unlock the ability to pursue additional passions and dreams.
