“We’re hoping to get some more colleges in, and then we can have a bigger competition,” Soderberg said.

This was also Soderberg’s first year of coaching, it was not without its hardships and growing pains but Soderberg’s all positive.

“The athletes have been super receptive to everything I have said to them, and assistant coaches. They have been amazing, and I could not have asked for a better first year,” Soderberg said.

Greta Boreson was on the team last season when they were not competing. She has seen first-hand how the additions have built the program’s capabilities.

“We have improved a lot technically, but also as a team, I think we are a lot closer and are willing to push each other because we know what we are capable of,” Boreson said.

“Then the new coaching staff is so amazing and have upped our game,” Boreson said.

The Warriors made sure to end the season on a high note.
