WARSAW — The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will be offering the “Fierce Hip-Hop Fitness” class in March and April.
“Fierce Hip-Hop Fitness” is about movement that celebrates the power and rhythm of dance. The class is designed to unleash your inner dancer while delivering a full-body workout. It blends dance and fitness while creating an inclusive space where participants can groove, sweat and embrace their confidence.
The class will take place at the Pete Thorn Youth Center gym, 800 N. Park Ave., in Warsaw, and will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in March; from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 9; and from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 3 and 10.
The class is open to those age 15 and older. Each class costs $10 per participant, and preregistration is required.
Registration opens Monday, Feb. 12, and will run through the day before the first class, unless filled earlier. There will be a maximum of 20 participants allowed per class. Comfortable tennis shoes and comfortable workout clothes are recommended.
